This section provides the details of UTO’s fund profile, benefits and risks of investing, risk

management strategies, fees and charges and other transactional information.

Investor Services

Cash Managed Fund

The cash management (holding) fund is a non-interest facility, and this is restricted to unit holders

only. The rationale for establishing the cash management (holding) fund is to facilitate the investor

transactions.

The registered investor (unit holder) will automatically be registered for a cash management

(holding) fund to facilitate the following transactions:

  • Residual value from the investments (also referred to as “change owed” to investors)

  • Dividends deposited and awaiting decision from the unit holder

  • Withdrawals of units (funds)

  • Funds in transition whilst it is accumulated for purchase of additional units

  • Dividends not claimed due to unpresented cheques (stale cheques - This is applicable to those

  • investors who prefer to receive dividends via cheques) and direct credit rejected from by the

  • bank.

Investment Plans
Women Empowerment Plan

This plan is intended to recognize Women’s contribution in our communities

today. The facility provides a real-life financial instrument which can be used to

nurture and financially support women in businesses, women’s groups and

associations opting to invest for their future.

This a new plan launched with this prospectus and UTOF’s recognition and

acknowledgment of the immense contribution of our women in reshaping the

social fabric of our families and communities.

Minimum Opening balance and Minimum Value of unit Holdings

(These limits may be waived at the Manager's discretion): 100 units

Maximum Investment - Unlimited

 

Employee Investment Plan IF

This plan is intended for working Fijians as part of our Employee Investment

Scheme. The plan is embedded in the agreement executed between the

Employer and UTOF that incentivized savings such as the waiver of the minimum

opening balance.

Minimum Opening balance and Minimum Value of unit Holdings

(These limits may be waived at the Manager's discretion): Nil under the EIS

Maximum Investment - Unlimited

Employer Investment Plan IF

Based on the success of the Employee Investment Scheme (EIS), this new plan

was created based on the demands from Employers to create further inroads in

the workforce engagement.

The plan enables Employers to invest for their employees based on incentives

such as the employee retention plan (milestone recognition and monetary

rewards), annual staff bonus payouts and any other monetary gain to be

provided to employees. The plan will be directly administered by the Employer.
